ADELE “25” REVIEW

It’s not like anything we imagined. At all.

Making an Adele song is pretty simple. Just take a piano, a guitar and let her do the magic with her voice. This album is pretty simple as well. Just give her time. And she can create new success. She can let we down. She can make we hate her.

Here is how it comes. You hear “Hello” and love it so much, and you hope this will be exactly what you love about “21”. That’s when you’re wrong.

No more goodbye or regret

For sure, “Hello” is a very sad, hurting opening, something like “Someone Like You”, but “25” is more than that. 11 songs. You can find slow and sad songs, but now, the rhythms are very strange. It’s all very hopeful and promising. It’s all about commitments and sweet proposals. No more goodbye or regret.

Every now and then, when I hear a female voice sings a sweet love song, I often scream “Oh My God” and my heart runs fast. With three songs “I Miss You”, “When We Were Young”, “Water Under The Bridge”, I scream, three times actually, “Oh My God”, “Oh My God”, “Oh My God”. “Hello” is about “Recently uncovered Adele” like she says. “I Miss You” is a exceptional piece of work, I must say. And of course, you can sing “When We Were Young” for every guy that you like, if you’re a sweet girl, if you’re a girl with limitless power of sweetness. In fact, that’s is Adele in this album. She knows it’s a good song when she cries while writing it. I’m sure with you that with “25”, you will have many moments of emotions. And they’re not just crying. I love it when the songs talk about the future, not the past.

But it’s undoubtedly a sweet requirement.

I can promise with you that this is a grown up, exetremely adorable Adele. So, if you’re expecting an angry, sad or not-giving-a-fuck Adele, you shouldn’t try “25”. She’s still angry, but she’s angry about what’ll happen in the future. She wants to move on so hard in “River Lea”. She wants to get it all so hard in “All I Ask”. And she’s not that not-giving-a-fuck when she’s break up anymore, instead, she feels happy when she’s free in “Send My Love”. She’s not that “Rolling in The Deep”. Now, she’s “Sweet Devotion”. Much more faith. Much more requirement. But it’s undoubtedly a sweet requirement. “If this is my last night with you. Hold me like I’m more than just a friend”

There will be hopes after broken loves. Always

“25” is a fresh. It has smart lyrics. Creative rhythms. And it’s full of surprises. Just try to find a song with two new high notes. Just try to find a song about sex. That will make you love to enjoy this album over and over again. With “21”, she told us that girl’s always hurted. But this time, not like anything we imagined about this album, Adele makes sure that no matter you are 21, 25 or even 50, when you’re in love, girl’s always sweet and adorable. And there will be hopes after broken loves. Always

JUSTIN BIEBER “PURPOSE” REVIEW

This’s not about JB that we used to love. It’s about JB that we need.

Let’s imagine. What if this album’s really suck? Just imagine you’ve done listen to the whole album, and then you realize this’s just another sh*t from that douche. Honestly, Justin tried all that he can do for this album. Like “Sorry” for all he’s done, or take Selena Gomez for inspiration. And yeah, you can cout the biggest names on this album, like Rick Rubin, or Kanye West, or Ed Sheeran on writing, of Diplo and Skrillex for supporting.

If this album’s really suck. It’s just simply suck.

Purpose is last chance for JB to save Pop. And his carreer

It’s not a brand new thing with he’s done before. Catchy rhythms, sweet lyrics for weak hearts. But everything’s on another level. This album’s everything that Justin-Bieber really wants to write. And trust me, Selena Gomez’s not the main idea about this album as we thought she is. This’s not suprise. Because in the end of the day, Purpose is last chance for JB to save Pop and his carreer. Not saving a broken relationship.

“Mark My Words” is a smart song, it cleverly shows JB’s golden voice. “I’ll Show You” or “What Do You Mean” or “Sorry” are all great songs when we heard them as singles. But the rest of this album are the best part. Most interesting. It’s the best Justin Bieber.

You won’t see a dancing-along-singing Justin Bieber like the old days. You will see deeper and slower songs, like “Life Is Worth Living” or that title song “Purpose”. These songs, trust me, are really great, really touching, and they show his writing talent. And yeah, we should thank him for so much things he gives us.

He brings the whole new style with “No Sense”, a rich voice with “Company”, a 100%-second-Baby “Been You”, and with the chance to bring a great song with Ed Sheeran, JB should “Love Yourself”.

Next time, JB should choose the different studio

The only problem about this album is Def Jam. We know that Def Jam is not for Pop, it’s all about Hip Hop. And when Rick Rubin and Kanye West-two biggest names of Def Jam are behind the desk, “Purpose” has to have rappers on it. Big Sean and Travis Scott are great, but they’re in just for money. I can’t hate or even bad about anything on this album, and actually, this is exaclly what Kanye told JB to do during this album. “Making great songs that people can’t hate them”. And when you pick two biggest egos on the planet into a place, everything is fine. Luckily.  Because they’re also the biggest mans of modern musics. But, next time, JB should choose the different studio

Let’s wait for Adele

This is the best Pop album so far. I love the new depth. I love the badass of a true playboy as JB in “Company” or “No Sense”, and I love his effort to become the second MJ with “Children”. I love his continous writing ability, his rich writing style, and of course, his voice in each song, how he moves the notes, how he lasts high notes. I love how this album’s packed perfectly and its rhythms, are hard to forget. You can find everything that you love aobut Pop with this album. But let’s way for one more week. Let’s wait for Adele. Justin Bieber is waiting too.

ONE DIRECTION “MADE IN THE A.M” REVIEW

One Direction brings back what we loved. In them. In music.

I didn’t want to write about 1D’s new album, but because I wrote about JB, so if I don’t listen to 1D, there will be war ((((: The truth is it’s really rare for us to see princes of Pop publish their albums at the same time. So, the question is, JB or 1D, who’s better? I’m sure, no matter who’s your side, you still love their albums.

No, I don’t mean that 1D fan will love “Made In The A.M” and JB fan will love “Purpose”. I mean the whole world will love the both albums.

If you are a fan of 1D, you should try “Purpose” and the same way for JB fan

I read a lot of reviews before I hit “Made In The A.M”. They say that JB’s album is way better than 1D’s one. It’s not actually. It’s really hard to compare the two albums when they’re both very well done, and they follow the completely different directions. Opposite directions actually. And let me show you why if you are a fan of 1D, you should try “Purpose”.

“Made In The A.M” brings the classic Pop, what we loved, we’re loving, and we definitely will love about Pop, and a litlle bit of Rock. That makes we fell very interested, and we fell “Never Enough”. More than that, it makes this fifth album becomes a ground-breaking goodbye of 1D, instead of a regretful farewell when they seperate each other on next March. “Hey Angel” is a perfect opening and when you choose the standard version or the deluxe version, “History” and “A.M” are both the songs that make we wish they could make another album like this. The only thing that we regret is this is the right time when 1D’s on their peak, they decide to split.

Louis is the hero of the whole album

But like in “End of The Day”: All I know at the end of the day is you love who you love. If you loved this team, you still love them in this album, and even when they’re on their own solo carreer. The perfomance of each person are perfect, but I can completely say that Louis is the hero for the whole album. When Zayn’s gone, Louis suddenly becomes the perfect replacement for the strongest voice of the team. He’s is the hit of ALL songs. “Hey Angel”, “Perfect”, “I Want to Write you A Song” are the excellent songs that Louis’s shine on.

And finally, I can promise with you that the idea of comparing the two new albums of JB and 1D is stupid. JB’s been on top of Pop for so long, his writing ability, his vision are always lead ahead, so making a album with the sound of future for Pop is just a piece of cake for him. But 1D’ve done a magical album. They bring back the sound of the past. The bring back the no-EDM-Pop-success. They give us a not so easy goodbye, not so regretful, not so confused. They bring back the reasons why we love them in the first place, for this final moment of loving them. And that is just enough.

I love how 1D tell the stories of falling in love with someone. They’re from England. I love how the whole album’s a party, even in the slow songs like “Long Way Down” or “I Want to Write You A Song”. I love how I can fine all the emotions, sadness, happy and I even almost cry with “If I Could Fly”. That is a great kind of music. So, a great Pop Rock album? Yes. 1D’s best album? Definitely.

SPECTRE: A GOOD BOND MOVIE. NOT THE ACTION ONE

My first time watching Bond was when my big brother bought a copy of “Die Another Day”. After that, we really loved 007, we used to wait older movies of the franchise on TV. Soon enough, we watched the whole franchise.

Began with “Casino Royale”, Bonds suprisingly become much better, though the previous movies’re great too, but Daniel Craig started the completely new Bond image. One more thing. Bond movies goes along with new vision. Focusing on the personal side of James Bond. The first time we’ve seen Bond really loving someone is in “Casino Royale”, the first time we’ve seen his childhood-house is in “Skyfall”. Everything’s great. Everything’s new.

Not with Spectre actually.

Spectre is a easy goodbye to Daniel’s 007. But it’s not easy for everyone. The movie’s still very classic, as the whole franchise. The entire story, the slow rhythm, the action scenes, the Bond Girls. But these things just don’t go along together. Everthing this movie can bring is a copy of the worst time in franchise. We expect a solid villian performance because we’re talking about Spectre- Bond’s BIGGEST target. But we’re not sastified. We expect the action scenes have that logical classic. But everything we’ve seen is the second “Mission Impossible”. And yeah, of course, we expect something more personal in this movie. A brotherhood, a lover for example, after hearing “Writing’s On The Wall”. But they deliver nothing. And even the song’s very suck.

Spectre’s also a easy movie for Daniel. Like the song that don’t make you sing with the high notes. It’s a good Bond movie. Because it does everything it can to become one. It’s a good “bye-bye-baby” for the image of James Bond we loved in Daniel Craig. But 007’s not all about spy. It’s also a action movie.

I think many people will think Bond’s job is finish when the movie’s end. I hope so if the keep doing these “Spectre” things. Daniel hope so when he said “No, no more”. But yeah, no surprise, in next 1,2 years, we’ll see a teaser like “James Bond’s Back”. Then, I hope they can ask themselves “Why?”
