My first time watching Bond was when my big brother bought a copy of “Die Another Day”. After that, we really loved 007, we used to wait older movies of the franchise on TV. Soon enough, we watched the whole franchise.
Began with “Casino Royale”, Bonds suprisingly become much better, though the previous movies’re great too, but Daniel Craig started the completely new Bond image. One more thing. Bond movies goes along with new vision. Focusing on the personal side of James Bond. The first time we’ve seen Bond really loving someone is in “Casino Royale”, the first time we’ve seen his childhood-house is in “Skyfall”. Everything’s great. Everything’s new.
Not with Spectre actually.
Spectre is a easy goodbye to Daniel’s 007. But it’s not easy for everyone. The movie’s still very classic, as the whole franchise. The entire story, the slow rhythm, the action scenes, the Bond Girls. But these things just don’t go along together. Everthing this movie can bring is a copy of the worst time in franchise. We expect a solid villian performance because we’re talking about Spectre- Bond’s BIGGEST target. But we’re not sastified. We expect the action scenes have that logical classic. But everything we’ve seen is the second “Mission Impossible”. And yeah, of course, we expect something more personal in this movie. A brotherhood, a lover for example, after hearing “Writing’s On The Wall”. But they deliver nothing. And even the song’s very suck.
Spectre’s also a easy movie for Daniel. Like the song that don’t make you sing with the high notes. It’s a good Bond movie. Because it does everything it can to become one. It’s a good “bye-bye-baby” for the image of James Bond we loved in Daniel Craig. But 007’s not all about spy. It’s also a action movie.
I think many people will think Bond’s job is finish when the movie’s end. I hope so if the keep doing these “Spectre” things. Daniel hope so when he said “No, no more”. But yeah, no surprise, in next 1,2 years, we’ll see a teaser like “James Bond’s Back”. Then, I hope they can ask themselves “Why?”
